 Today's Readings

Do not fear: I am with you;
do not be anxious: I am your God.
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.    - Isaiah 41:10

This verse uplifts me in the hard times, when my life seems dark. I like to read this verse when I am anxious of my future or when I am finding myself unmotivated to continue with my education. It encourages me to continue with my education and to worry less of my future, because God is with me. With God by my side I will be able to confront all the challenges I have coming my way. He is victorious, and He is more than qualified to be my helping hand and to give me strength.

  1. "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me"
    Knowing I am never alone in how I've committed to living my life,.daily, gives me the strength to face whatever comes my way.
    (And lately?... well... lately that's been quite a bit)

  2. One thing I ask from the LORD, only this do I seek: that I may live in the house of the LORD all the days of my life.

    Thanks for the daily Lenten meditations - it is good to journey together. Wishing all a blessed Easter

  4. A recent verse I've been meditating on is Hosea 2:19:

    "I will betroth you to me forever;
    I will betroth you in righteousness and justice,
    in love and compassion."

    The language and reality of betrothal to describe God's love is captivating in my opinion. I hope you are captivated with God's love anew this Easter. 🙏
