On this Friday the Third Week of Advent, today’s scripture gives us the hope for our future, if we return to our basic beliefs of God, Love and Giving.

We learn of the birth of Jesus to come, the reasons for his coming and his request of us to believe in his truth, his word, and his love. “As king he shall reign and govern wisely, he shall do what is just and right in the land.”

We need to find simple ways to return to our basic beliefs and to help others understand these beliefs, that God is here for us. We get so busy with our daily lives, we lose sight of what are the most important things we should do. This year of 2020 has been such a hardship on so many fronts. It attacked our fundamental beliefs of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness FOR ALL.

If we could just listen to the words of the scripture, as Joseph listened to the angel, listen to each other, and accept what should be, we together can make monumental change. God, has always been there to help guide us, we just have to listen. “Justice shall flourish in his time, and fullness of peace for ever.”

I wish for all the world to listen to each other, to love each other and to give to each other. As God gave to us, so can we give to others to change our world to be the place we want it to be. “Peace on Earth”.
